Obituary of Lorna Joyce Murdoch

Eulogy of My Sister Lorna Joyce Murdoch It is with sadness that we announce the passing of our dear loved one on February 8, 2020 at 3:45 a.m. at HSC. Lorna was born June 29, 1959. She is predeceased by her parents William Murdock AKA Billy goat, and beautiful mom Sarah Barbara Murdock, AKA Barbie, sister Myrna Murdock as a baby, fun loving Doris Murdock, as well as many uncles, aunts and cousins. Lorna is survived by her children, daughter Farrah Murdock of B.C., son Jeffrey Whitman of Ottawa, and 4 grandchildren, brothers, Melvin Murdock, sister Verna Potter, Russell Murdock, Oliver Murdock of Winnipeg, Calvin Murdock of USA, twins Rhonda and Ronald of Winnipeg and missing sister Irma Murdock. She is also survived by 2 aunts Eileen Elizabeth Daniels of Fisher River, Esther Mulvena Lacquette of Winnipeg, as well as many nieces, nephews and cousins. Lorna loved cats as well as visiting friends. She often frequented the center and visited with her friends. She loved joking with her cousins, especially Sheila LaQuette. Lorna wished to move home and set up an animal shelter, she had a kind generous heart when it came to stray cats. She will be sadly missed by all who knew her and loved her. She is free now of pain and loneliness, she's now rejoicing with her loved ones. We'd like to thank the nurses and doctors who cared for her as well as our Auntie Mulvena LaQuette for her guidance and love, for the heartfelt poem she wrote DO NOT CRY. For all the friends she has had, for the family who visited and for the ones who stayed with her, we love you all.
