It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of our beloved father Victor Andrew Anderson, of Winnipeg, MB. At 84 years old he died unexpectedly on September 7, 2021 @ 12:11 a.m. in his home. The family is deeply saddened by his sudden death.
Victor was born in Eriksdale, Manitoba and lived in Winnipeg most of his life. He worked as a trucker with Reimer Trucking.
Victor was a loving father to his kids & the children he raised as his own. He always made sure they felt his love. He was an extraordinary man and father who acted like an ordinary one.
Victor loved hanging out with friends and family, his kids and grandchildren. Anyone who knew Victor, was touched by his kindness, humor and caring heart. He was truly a peacemaker and was always a source of positivity and laughter. He looked for the best in others and gave the best he had. He celebrated his successes and gave gratitude to everyone who was in his life.
Victor had a heart of gold and it’s incredible to see just how boundless his reach has been. He left an impact on every person he met, even strangers (who didn’t stay strangers very long because he was just so damn friendly)! We’ll always remember his special smile, his laughter and jokes.
Dad, the day has finally come that you must travel separately from those who love you and who you loved so fiercely. The laughter you gave us, and yes, even the tears, will bring us warmth and strength. And Dad, as always, you were too modest. Even people outside your home think you’re greater than the great. Even though your death leaves a heartache no one can heal, we know the love you gave us will leave memories no one can steal.
Victor was predeceased by his sisters and brother and mom/dad. He leaves to mourn his children Lee Prince, Charlene Prince, Angela Anderson, his grandchildren along with many nieces, nephews and extended family and his abundance of friends.
We will all miss him more than words can say. May you rest high with your Creator and with our loved ones, until we meet again Dad.
